Update on Pop Culture Talk
Beyond the usual episodes, I’ve had various project ideas that I wanted to turn into something, but with everything I already have on my plate, I don’t have the time to take on extra side projects just for fun. Instead, I’ve decided to create special Pop Culture Talk episodes that incorporate stop-motion and 3D animation. While these elements occasionally appear in my other episodes, dedicating full-length stories to them will let me merge my ideas into one, rather than spreading myself too thin.
Although stop-motion and 3D animation will still be part of my original projects and new ideas, I can also integrate some of my “side” concepts into Pop Culture Talk. I really want to get back into stop-motion—despite working on The Toy War, I miss making fun stop-motion videos. As for 3D animation, I’d like to experiment more with Poser Pro 11 and Source Filmmaker for both original works and Pop Culture Talk episodes.
Another idea I had was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate show, but since I’m already juggling so much, I’ve decided to merge it with Pop Culture Talk for easier organization.
This will be an exciting new journey for Pop Culture Talk, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!

So, while my trailer for Iron Cradle was supposed to come out in the winter of this year, well, I doubt it’s going to happen. The project is moving very slowly due to proofing and ensuring everything looks good, so I’m going to need a little more time. I do apologize for the delay, but you can expect to see it sometime in 2025!
However, while that is still being worked on, I’ll be getting a new Toy War episode ready soon. I just need to review it before publication to ensure everything is good to go.
And, of course, there will be a new Pop Culture Talk episode out sometime next month.
Some Changes:
I’ve been debating making small changes to the Pop Culture Talk show. While this show has been a combination of reviews, discussions, and top tens, I’ve been considering whether I should combine the reviews and discussion topics into one format. For example, while a review focuses on how good a product is or whether I enjoyed it, discussions dive deeper into the product (or products) and explore broader aspects.
I personally enjoy creating discussions more, and I plan to focus on them more frequently. However, reviews have been more common lately. My challenge with reviews is that they require me to articulate my thoughts on something within a shorter timeframe, which feels more rushed. While reviews can evolve into lengthy episodes, they often lean toward being discussions anyway. Discussions, on the other hand, allow me to take my time and include more depth, even though that sometimes causes delays.
Because of this, I’ve been toying with the idea of merging the review and discussion formats into one instead of separating them into playlists like “Reviews” or “Discussions.” This change might streamline things and make my job easier, but it’s just a thought for now. I’ll wait to see how the year unfolds before making a final decision.
